I Am Living

In palliative care, an individual who supports someone with a terminal or life-limiting illness is known as the carer or caregiver. This person may be a relative, a spouse, a partner, a child, a parent, or a friend. They may offer accompaniment, practical assistance, advice, education, psychological support, spiritual support, financial support, legal support, or social support strategies to improve a person’s quality of life and optimise their function.
