How will you know that death has occurred?
Dying process
In order to ascertain whether death has occurred, you can check for the following signals:
breathing stops;
eyelids may be half open;
heartbeat is absent;
mouth may be open;
pulse is absent;
pupils are fixed; and
the person cannot be woken.
